Introduction
In this session John 6: 16-30, we are introduced into four categories people who followed Jesus and their motivations. We also discover how Jesus tested their loyalty and their trust in him as equal to God. These people were, unbelievers, non believers, brrad and miracle believers and eternal life believers. The disciples wanted to do something in order to engage in the works of God. Jesus pointed out that the only work God requires of us is to believe that Jesus is who he claim to be.
Objectives
By the end of this session the learner will have:
- Understood the motivations of crowds and disciples following Jesus by following at the conversations between Jesus and the followers.
- Identified the only work God require of us, believing that Jesus is the bread of Life

Group Study Time

Connecting
- Gather with two or more people for a community discovery bible study session.
- Start with a heartfelt prayer, inviting God to guide and bless your understanding.
- Explore the passage by reading it at least twice, using different Bible versions if available, then retell the story together as a group.
- Reflect and share the challenges and blessings you experienced from the previous study.

- Read John 6: 16-21. How did Jesus test His disciples this particular evening? How long might the disciples have struggled in the Sea? What lessons do you learn about Jesus and about disciples
- Read John 6; 22-27. Why were the crowds looking for Jesus? What was Jesus’ advise to them?
- Read John 6: 28-30. What is the only work God wants us to do?

- Engage with the Bible—read, study, memorize, meditate, pray, listen, and live it out.
- List three lessons you have learnt as an agent of change that you would like to put into practice and teach others about.
- Take time and worship Jesus with the attributes revealed about Christ.
