Introduction
In this session, John 9:35-41, we focus on understanding the level and the types of worship of the healed man and the Pharisees. We will discover that the level of spiritual sight or spiritual Blindness will determine our level of worship. We will appreciate that Jesus looked for the man thrown out of the worship center to allow him to worship in truth and spirit.
Objectives
By the end of this session, the learner will have:
- Understood the principles of worship by looking at the level of man’s knowledge of Jesus
- Discussed the truth about true worship and guilty blind worship

- Our worship depends on our spiritual sight
- True worship and blind, guilty worship
Group Study Time
John 9: 35-41
Connecting
- Gather with two or more people for a community discovery bible study session.
- Start with a heartfelt prayer, inviting God to guide and bless your understanding.

- Read John 9: 35-38, what do you learn about true worship?
- Read John 9: 39-41. What was revealed about blind and guilty worshippers?
- What four levels did the healed man know Jesus, the world’s light, by this time? Verses 10-12, 15, 17, 24, 35-38. What might the man’s worship looked like in every level of his knowledge of Jesus, discuss?
